The fifth North America Revit Technology Conference will occur on July 23 – 25 in Washington D.C. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to network, learn from experts and knowledge-share with an international community of their peers.
On Thursday, July 23, I have the pleasure of discussing how design technology can foster design and BIM workflows. In my presentation, “Conceptual Design and Analysis: BIM in High Gear,” I will show how my design team uses Autodesk FormIt and Revit for high-speed conceptual design and analysis.
My commitment to excellence in developing and implementing design concepts is employed in each project countrywide, touching every service line. My extensive experience designing buildings with complex scope and three-dimensional character has enabled me to focus my teams on process, strategy and workflow to incorporate design software at the inception of the design process.
This early integration maintains a downstream transfer of information from design to documentation. We employ BIM on all projects, working with industry fabricators to translate information direct to fabrication across a range of scales from buildings to commissioned sculpture. Currently, I am focusing Revit’s ability to create parametric model components to provide inherent flexibility in the design process.
